The 2-4oz version is designed to give maximum casting range with lighter weights and lower diameter braid and mono lines. This lighter casting weight offers outstanding bite detection, but also has power in the mid section and butt to handle bigger fish. The more powerfull 4-8oz version will is designed to cast heavier leads and baits at maximum range. Both versions are 15ft in length and this makes them easy ultra long range casting rods best macthed with fixed spool reels, light braid or mono lines with a shock leader. Perfect for targeting flatfish, whiting, cod, bass, rays and more over clean and mixed rough ground. Perfect for general beach fishing when after flatfish, whiting, bass and sole.
